FINANCIAL INCLUSION PROGRAMME
  Nukkar Nathaks was performed by the members of Nukkar Nathak organized by “Berojgar Kalyan Sangh” on Financial Literacy Programme at all villages of Ranchi, Dhanbad, Khunti & Gumla District sponsored by National Bank for Agriculture & Rural Development (NABARD). Through the medium of Nukkar Nathak, people are conveyed about the importance of depositing money in the Bank instead keeping in the house, where there is possibility of theft, destruction of it by rats, if not properly kept & loss due negligence.

So, we provided information about what are the advantages of Bank are:
•     Safety from money from theft, destruction & from any other losses.
•     Lend us money at low interest rate than Sahukar & Zaminders.
•    Provide various Loans lending facility.
•     Facility of own Account in the Bank.
•    Core Banking System, i.e., Easy transfer & receiving of money, etc.
•    Insurance against life, fire, destruction, damage, etc
•    Security & repayable of money.
•    Online facilities like payment of bills, etc.
•    Pension Deposit A/C.



Other Government related schemes which they can avail through Bank:-
•    Self-employment Credit Card Facility.
•    Facility of providing loans to Joint Liability Groups (JLGs), Self Help Groups (SHGs)
•    Kishan Credit Card facility.

 To aware people & to avoid lending of money from Village Sahukar, where they have to pay huge Interest against small amount also, because they not have option & they are not aware about it. So, we basically aware people that by depositing money in the bank, we have many advantages that firstly we don’t have to lend money from Sahukar,   & secondly, don’t have to pay Interest at high rate.
Under PM Jan Dhan Yojana, every family should have atleast 2 Account (A/C) holding with the Bank, in which atleast one member should be a women. If the A/C is active for 6months & transactions is done, then the holder can avail the benefits of this scheme i.e., Accidental Insurance of Rs.1lakh, Life Insurance of Rs. 30,000 &Overdraft of Rs. 5,000 (Cash Credit Limit) facility.
In same manner, under Pradhan Mantri Jeevan Jyoti Bima Yojana, any person under the age group of 18 to 50 years can avail the benefits of the scheme. In this, premium of Rs. 330 per year is paid & person can avail the benefit of risk coverage of Rs.2 Lakh in case of death for any reason.
There is one insurance scheme which covers death or disablement of the policyholder    caused due to accident or accidental injuries, which is Pradhan Mantri Suraksha Bima Yojana. Under this, the persons of age limit of 18 -70 years are eligible for it. It will offer an accidental death and full disability cover of Rs. 2 Lakh and for partial disability cover of Rs. 1 Lakh. In this, the premium will be directly auto-debited by the bank from the Subscriber’s account, which is just Rs.12 per annum.

There is one more important scheme,i.e, Atal Pension Yojana (APY).It is a scheme mainly for workers in unorganized sector. The subscribers who will joined the scheme would receive the fixed pension of Rs. 1000 per month, Rs. 2000 per month, Rs. 3000 per month, Rs. 4000 per month, Rs. 5000 per month, at the age of 60 years, depending on their contributions. The Age limit is 18 yrs – 40 yrs under this scheme. A subscriber can contribute for minimum period of 20 years or more and pension payment will start at the age of 60 years.

Under Self-employment Credit Card Scheme, loans are provided by the Banks to unemployed peoples who want to start their own business.
In the same manner, Banks also provide loans to Farmers to start their own business like farming, Horticulture, Animal Husbandry, etc under Joint Liability Groups (JLGs) to those persons who make groups of 4 to 7 members basically persons who are Landless, etc.
The other facilities in which Village Club Farmers lend money at low Interest rate & through this money, they purchase good quality seeds & fertilizers. By the use of this good quality items, they can increase their production & as well as earn good income. 
Now, in this way, many village women make group of 12 to 15  & open an A/C in the Bank in name of a their Group & after few months they can lend money  at low Interest rate & start any occupation of their own &  financial help their family. Having an A/C in the bank helps people who don’t live in village & go to urban areas for employment opportunities & to stay in the city due to which they are unable to come home. So with the help of Bank, they can transfer or deposit money in that A/C & they get that money as soon as possible.  Regularly dealing with the Bank, women can get acknowledge with various perspective of the Bank like online transfer of money, schemes, etc. This type of support help the women in their empowerment & self-dependant of themselves but also through this, it position the status of women & value in the family as well in the society.
One important Scheme that is launched by Government for empowerment of girl in the society is Sukanya Samriddhi Yojana. It is a small deposit scheme for the girl child. The upper age limit of the girl child for opening this account is 10 years. The minimum deposit under the scheme is Rs. 1000 /- & the maximum deposit is Rs. 1.5 lakhs.
Other important schemes that are briefed through the performance are:




Pradhan Mantri Mudra Yojana:-Micro Units Development & Refinance Agency Ltd. (MUDRA) is a new institution set up by Government of India to provide funding to the non-corporate; non-farm sector income generating activities of micro and small enterprises whose credit needs are below 10 Lakh.

                                   Under the aegis of Pradhan Mantri MUDRA Yojana (PMMY), MUDRA has created three products i.e. 'Shishu', 'Kishore' and ‘Tarun’ as per the stage of growth and funding needs of the beneficiary micro unit. These schemes cover loan amounts as below:
a.    Shishu: covering loans up to50,000
b.    Kishore: covering loans above 50,000 and up to 5,00,000
c.    Tarun: covering loans above 5,00,000 and up to10,00,000
These types of Awareness activity such as Nukkar Nathak create a level of knowledge & awareness in the society. And this type of activity gets easily attention & response from crowd of public. During the performance of Nukkar Nathak, people seems very curious about the whole fact, so during the performance & after the performance people ask questions related to it. So, the members as well the volunteers help & provide their suggestions.
•    The Nukkad Nathak programme at few places was visited by the Authorities of the NABARD to see the performance & working of the organization. After the programme, pamphlets are distributed among the crowd, so that people can well acquaint about the whole scheme & yojanas that are for them. This Nukkar Nathak was participated by a huge number of people. This programme was organized at:-

The outcome of the programme
748 Nukkar Nathak was performed at 748 villages in above mentioned blocks. Approx 1.25 lakh people were aware through this, due to which 25,834 A/Cs, 745 KCC, 151 GCC & other loan, 231 SHG formed & 74 FD/RD has been opened till now after completion of the programme. This data was provided by the all Banks in the Block.
